Reporting to: Commercial Manager Location: Lusaka, Zambia Role Summary The Business Development Executive will be responsible for onboarding retailers, generating orders, generating revenue and driving repeat business through strong customer relationships across Lusaka. Key Responsibilities Identify and onboard new Retailers/Mid-tier Supermarkets/ Small Dealers/Institutions onto the AfrikoMart platform. Drive daily/weekly order generation. Maintain strong relationships with Key Accounts & Big Customers to generate the revenue. Educate retailers on platform usage and benefits. Follow up for repeat orders and customer retention. Provide market feedback and competitor insights. Maintain records of sales activities and customer interactions. Essential Requirements Grade 12 school certificate with 5 credits including English and mathematics. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field 1–3 years of experience in Business-to-Business sales or FMCG distribution with the complete understanding of the Lusaka City. Strong field sales and negotiation skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Self-driven and target-oriented mindset. Basic knowledge of mobile apps and digital tools.
