About the Australia-Pacific Partnerships Platform

The Australia-Pacific Partnerships Platform program is an Australian Government initiative funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and managed by DT Global. It provides Pacific Island Countries with a suite of flexible, fit-for-purpose options that support broad governance and stability development outcomes. Services provided by the Partnerships Platform can include recruitment, procurement, grants, monitoring and evaluation, research and training, advisory support, and program design and management. Our partners identify the areas in which this support is required, and these can include climate change, strengthening public financial management systems, infrastructure, governance, economic growth and social inclusion.

As a leading implementing partner across Asia and the Pacific, we co-create locally led solutions in partnership with governments, communities, and stakeholders. We bring together talented teams and deep regional expertise to deliver initiatives that promote inclusive economic growth, essential services, and resilient, secure communities. With over 1,500 staff, experts in 22+ countries and more than 60 years of development experience, we tackle complex community, national and transnational challenges — from governance and justice systems to climate resilience, infrastructure and social equity — with innovative thinking and a commitment to long-term impact.

Expert Application Advice

When tailoring your CV for NGO, don't just list duties—show how you solved a logistics bottleneck. If they require les compétences demandées dans l'annonce, prove you turned a complex supply chain into a measurable efficiency gain.

International NGO — NGO recruiters read your cover letter to assess your understanding of the humanitarian mission, not just technical skills. Show you know the country field context and the specific challenges of this sector.

Field and ERP — Specify your experience with local customs procedures and the ERPs you genuinely master. Recruiters often test stock-out management in emergencies — prepare a concrete example.

  • Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
  • Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
  • Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
  • Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
  • Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
  • A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
