Apply Now Job Description Job Summary A reputable manufacturing company in the packaging industry is seeking a Production Supervisor for its egg tray factory. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and achievement of production targets in line with company objectives. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and supervise daily egg tray production to meet approved targets. Oversee all production processes including pulp preparation, moulding, drying, and finishing. Ensure effective operation, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting of production machinery. Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime. Monitor raw material usage and control wastage to reduce production costs. Enforce quality control standards to ensure finished products meet required specifications. Supervise, train, and discipline production staff and machine operators. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports. Liaise with management, maintenance teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth factory operations. Required Skills or Experience Qualifications & Requirements HND or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment. At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role. Prior experience in egg tray production, moulded pulp, packaging, or paper recycling will be a strong advantage. Technical or vocational training in machine operation or maintenance is an added advantage. Knowledge of workplace safety, factory operations, and basic labour regulations in Ghana. Skills Strong understanding of egg tray production processes and machinery. Good production planning, monitoring, and reporting skills. Ability to manage staff, enforce discipline, and build teamwork. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills. Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, production records). Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
