Production Supervisor (Shift Lead)
Nestlé Ghana Limited, the world's largest Food and Beverage Company, is seeking a Production Supervisor or Shift Lead to oversee a production line during a shift. The role ensures the production plan is fully achieved on time, in compliance with standards and legal requirements, while meeting safety, quality, hygiene, cost, and environment needs in a 24/7 operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure efficient and prompt maintenance and repair of the production plant in the assigned area.
Lead a group of technical supervisors and line technicians.
Take prompt action in case of breakdowns.
Conduct training to improve staff skills, competence, and efficiency.
Ensure staff adhere to factory rules, hygienic standards, and safety regulations.
Follow up on spare parts stock levels and place orders for new parts when necessary.
Manage and monitor the analytical competence of technicians.
Oversee technicians' training plans and development needs.
Proactively promote safety.
Support the implementation of NQMS and NCE.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of three (3) years professional experience as head of maintenance or in a similar function.
Key Success Factors:
Knowledge in Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.
Knowledge in Troubleshooting and Problem Solving.
Knowledge in Equipment and System Knowledge.
Knowledge in Safety and Compliance.
Good working knowledge of project management.
Good working knowledge of Vendor and Spare Parts Management.
