Expression of Interest (EOI) – Construction and Rehabilitation of Water Supply Infrastructures in Schools – Kiambu Sub-Counties
Terre des hommes (Tdh), the leading Swiss child relief agency, is committed to improving the lives of millions of the world's most vulnerable children. Children are the first to suffer in times of war, natural disasters, and because of poverty. At Terre des Hommes, our goal is to steadily improve the conditions of the most vulnerable children worldwide.
In this context, Tdh in Kenya invites competent construction firms to express interest in tendering for the following services:
Lot 1: Construction and rehabilitation of water supply infrastructure, sanitation, and hygiene facilities to schools in Kiambu, Gatundu North, and Gatundu South sub-counties.
Lot 2: Construction of elevated steel tower, supply, and installation of handwashing stations to schools in Kiambu, Gatundu North, and Gatundu South sub-counties.
Only bidders registered in Kenya, with an established presence of more than three years providing similar services in Kiambu County, are eligible to request bidding documents. Only locally registered contractors in Kiambu County will be considered.
The last day for requesting bid documents is August 17, 2026, at 12:00 pm. Tdh-Kenya Foundation reserves the right not to consider tender document requests after the mentioned date.
Terres des hommes-Foundation reserves the right to accept or reject any incomplete bid document. Bids received after the submission deadline above will not be accepted. The bid documents shall be opened privately soon after the above stated closing date and time in the Nairobi office. Both successful and unsuccessful service providers will be notified by email upon conclusion of the process.
Detailed instructions to bid shall be contained in the bid documents that shall be shared upon successful request. Any kind of canvassing is prohibited and shall lead to disqualification.
