Responsibilities include applying standardized rates, computing premiums, and handling underwriting for new, renewal, endorsement, and cancellation cases. Renewal terms for corporate clients must be prepared promptly, with strategic follow-ups to secure renewals via letters and proactive engagement. Premium invoices will be issued, and timely collection will be ensured in line with credit policies, while outstanding debts are monitored and reported. Systems will be maintained to accurately configure benefits and manage membership, alongside generating timely scheme performance reports as stipulated by SLAs with clients and intermediaries. Participation in scheme performance review meetings is required, following predefined guidelines. The role ensures strict compliance with underwriting operational systems and procedures, overseeing Underwriting Assistants to uphold service quality and efficiency. Collaboration with field marketing teams, agents, and brokers is essential to foster and sustain strong business relationships. Liaising with brokers, agents, and direct clients to validate details, clarify coverage, and interpret policies forms a key part of the position. Additional duties involve preparing member guides, underwriting summaries, utilization reports, member statements, and analyzing loss ratio trends. Adherence to service standards and the Customer Service Charter across all underwriting operations is mandatory, with strict enforcement of the no-credit policy to maintain up-to-date premiums on section accounts through timely collections.
