ARC has secured a five-year cooperative agreement, the USG-funded Uganda Health Activity (UHF), to execute an integrated health delivery initiative spanning seven subregions in Uganda: Eastern, East Central, Acholic, Mango, Saratoga, Ankle, and Kigali. The Uganda Health Activity collaborates with the Government of Uganda to enhance population survival, well-being, and health system resilience across seven key regions. The initiative is tasked with improving the quality and accessibility of maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH), nutrition, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services at facilities, as well as strengthening health systems at the regional, district, facility, and community levels. To achieve its mission, UHF conducted comprehensive evaluations of health infrastructure requirements across Uganda’s seven supported regions, aiming to enhance access to healthcare by ensuring the functionality of renovated and newly constructed health facilities. ARC/JOSHUA is actively seeking qualified and eligible firms—referred to as “offerers”—to meet its urgent and long-term construction, renovation, and remodeling requirements in alignment with the Ministry of Health’s infrastructure priorities. Interested parties are invited to submit responses to this Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) with the objective of compiling a roster of pre-qualified firms eligible to present quotations for all current and upcoming construction, renovation, and remodeling projects under UHF. Successful bidders will be included in a future simplified competitive process for submitting quotations on specific works or services, enabling ARC to acquire anticipated construction projects through a streamlined yet efficient procurement method. (Entities already prequalified under EOI FY26-UHA-10 with ARC Uganda Health Activity need not reapply.) Prepare your submission in accordance with the outlined specifications, ensuring all required documentation and technical details are included. Verify that your bid complies with the stated terms, conditions, and evaluation criteria before finalizing the submission. - •Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
- •Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
- •Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
- •Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
- •Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
- •A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
