Job Purpose To support the development, management, and analysis of financial inclusion data and research activities, providing evidence-based insights that inform policy formulation, product innovation, and strategic decision-making at the Bank. Main Accountabilities
- Support the development and refinement of data frameworks, metrics, and indicators to enable evidence-based decision-making and effective tracking of financial inclusion progress.
- Assist in aligning indicators with national strategies and Bank objectives to ensure consistency and strategic relevance of measurement frameworks.
- Support the collection, validation, updating, and integration of financial inclusion data into the Data Warehouse to ensure availability of accurate, reliable, and accessible data.
- Assist in coordinating FinScope and other surveys, including liaising with stakeholders and service providers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality survey outputs.
- Support the design and execution of diagnostic surveys and research studies to generate insights for policy development and market interventions.
- Conduct data analysis and contribute to analytical reports to provide actionable insights on financial inclusion trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Provide data and analytical support to internal and external stakeholders to enhance informed decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
- Assist in developing Concept Notes, TORs, and data collection tools to ensure structured and high-quality implementation of research and monitoring activities.
- Support the development and updating of log-frames, results chains, indicators, and M&E reports to strengthen results-based management and ensure compliance with Bank and national frameworks.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to knowledge dissemination to support impact assessments, case studies, and promote learning and best practices. Qualifications and Experience
Analytical, conceptual, communication and research skills. Key Knowledge and Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, banking and finance, business administration, accountancy, or related discipline or certification in ZICA or equivalent.
- Grade 12 School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) ‘O’ levels (credit or better)
Expérience
- Three (3) years’ relevant experience Key attributes
- Analytical, conceptual, communication and research skills.
