Job Purpose To facilitate the development, oversight, and evaluation of financial inclusion data and research initiatives, delivering data-driven insights that guide policy development, product innovation, and strategic decision-making within the Bank. Main Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of data frameworks, metrics, and indicators to facilitate evidence-based decision-making and monitor progress in financial inclusion effectively.

Formation / Diplômes

  • Support the alignment of indicators with national strategies and Bank objectives to guarantee the coherence and strategic importance of measurement frameworks. Contribute to the systematic gathering, verification, updating, and consolidation of financial inclusion data for integration into the Data Warehouse, ensuring the provision of precise, dependable, and readily accessible information.
  • Support the coordination of Fin Scope and additional surveys by collaborating with stakeholders and service providers to ensure the punctual delivery of superior survey outputs.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of diagnostic surveys and research studies to produce actionable insights for policy formulation and targeted market interventions.

  • Perform comprehensive data analysis and develop analytical reports to deliver actionable insights regarding financial inclusion trends, challenges, and opportunities. Offer analytical insights and data-driven support to both internal teams and external partners, facilitating well-informed decision-making and strengthening stakeholder engagement.
  • Support the creation of Concept Notes, Terms of Reference (Tors), and data collection instruments to facilitate structured, high-quality execution of research and monitoring initiatives.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of log-frames, results chains, indicators, and M&E reports to enhance results-based management and ensure alignment with Bank and national guidelines. Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate knowledge sharing, thereby supporting impact assessments, developing case studies, and fostering continuous learning and the adoption of best practices. Qualifications and Experience

  • Proficiency in analytical reasoning, conceptual thinking, communication, and research methodologies. Key Knowledge and Attributes A Bachelor’s degree in economics, banking and finance, business administration, accountancy, or a related field—or alternatively, certification from RICA (or an equivalent organization)—is required.
  • A Grade 12 School Certificate is required, including a minimum of five (5) ‘O’ levels, each achieved at credit level or higher.

Expérience

  • A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is required. Demonstrated proficiency in analytical reasoning, conceptual thinking, and effective communication, complemented by strong research capabilities.
