CDL Human Resource, founded in early 2003 by its current Managing Director Lucy Mmari, is a human resources management firm. With over 14 years of experience in a well-established logistics company, Lucy honed her skills before starting CDL. We are currently recruiting for several positions.

Assistant Project Coordinator

Job Type: Full Time | Qualification: BA/BSc/HND | Job Field: Project and Program Management

Main Purpose of the Job: As the Project Assistant Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the project function and ensuring projects are timely from inception to completion while ensuring project objectives are met. Your role will also involve assisting in back-office support, reporting, communication, and client relationship management, supporting the Project Coordinator Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

Support in site meeting preparation – organize for site meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items. Documentation and reporting – help compile project status reports and maintain up-to-date project documentation under the guidance of the Project Coordinator. Track tasks and follow up on deadlines with team members to ensure timely completion. Track equipment and material usage and help coordinate deliveries to project sites. Update project timelines and calendars and notify relevant stakeholders of any change. Maintain communication and updates to internal teams and clients where assigned by the Project Coordinator. Support in conducting quality checks and compiling findings for review by the Project Coordinator. Assist in supporting the team in coordination of transport, support documents for travel or access where needed. Identify and report potential project risks or delays to the Project Coordinator. Help ensure that safety and security protocols are being followed on sites. Continuously learn about security systems and project management practices. Process improvement identification. Attend meetings as required. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer support best practices, and proactively share knowledge and recommendations with the team. Team supervision and communication on work allocation. Manage all client communication and correspondence. Coordination with relevant departments for work operations. Reporting and monitoring of ongoing activities. Leading team meetings or hurdles.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, electronics, or mechanical) or a related technical field. Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software; willingness to improve through training. Familiarity with electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) is an added advantage.

Competence in using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or Excel). 3-4 years of experience in a technical or project support role, preferably in security systems or construction. Candidates must have been in their current role for more than two (2) years. This is a mandatory requirement.

Skills: Exposure to site work and coordination of technical teams is desirable. Strong organizational and time management skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong organizational and time management skills. Legal Assistant

Job Type: Full Time | Qualification: BA/BSc/HND | Experience: 2 years | Location: Nairobi | Job Field: Legal and Regulatory

Role Specification: The holder is responsible for managing the company's Industrial Relations Matters. Identify and advise the company on how to mitigate statutory and compliance risks.

Key Result Areas: Statutory and legal compliance. Industrial Relations - Minimize or ensure zero labor disputes.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Keep and maintain regional Statutory and legal compliance schedule and ensure 100% compliance. Establish regional expansion legal requirements per market as guided by management and ensure compliance. Review regional legislation and advise Management on how the Company’s operations may be affected. Implement regular staff training to keep staff up to date with changes in legislation and regulations and to raise awareness of legal risks and issues within the business. Management of disciplinary matters in compliance with the law and guidance on emerging legal matters relating to Employer/Employee relations. Close all disciplinary cases within 7 working days. Share monthly summary report of the disciplinary cases and industrial relations matters. Conduct background checks for clients as per the specific client timelines (share summary report monthly). Review and understand companies’ internal Policies and Procedures and ensure consistency with the organizations’ strategic goals and with legal and regulatory requirements. Participating in any other duties that shall be reasonably assigned by Management from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B). Minimum of two (2) years' relevant work experience, with demonstrated exposure to employment and labour law, contract law, and general legal advisory services. Sound knowledge of the Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and other relevant employment legislation. Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Currently undertaking the Advocates Training Programme (ATP) at the Kenya School of Law. Admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya will be an added advantage/preferred.

Van Sales Executive – Baby Care / Beauty Care Products

Job Type: Full Time | Qualification: Diploma, Professional Certificate | Experience: 2 - 3 years | Location: Kiambu | Job Field: Sales and Business Development

Job Summary: Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Van Sales Executive to drive sales and distribution of Baby Care and Beauty Care products within assigned territories. The role is responsible for executing daily sales routes, building strong customer relationships, ensuring product availability, and achieving assigned sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities: Execute daily van sales activities within the assigned territory to achieve sales and distribution targets. Promote and sell the company's Baby Care and/or Beauty Care product portfolio to retail outlets and other customers. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to acquire new accounts. Ensure effective product merchandising and visibility at customer outlets. Manage route plans efficiently to maximize sales coverage and productivity. Monitor stock levels within the van and ensure accurate inventory reconciliation. Process customer orders, collect payments where applicable, and maintain accurate sales records. Provide regular market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and customer trends. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and vehicle operating procedures. Prepare and submit daily sales, inventory, and route performance reports.

Qualifications & Experience: Certificate, Diploma in Business, Sales & Marketing, or a related field is an added advantage. Previous sales experience within the FMCG industry. 2 - 3 years’ experience selling Baby Care / Beauty Care Products. Experience in van sales and route-to-market (RTM) operations. Valid B1/B2 Driving Licence is mandatory. Good communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills. Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

Sales Operations Manager – Oils & Fats

Job Type: Full Time | Qualification: BA/BSc/HND | Experience: 5 - 8 years | Location: Nairobi | Job Field: Sales and Business Development

Role Overview: The role will be responsible for leading sales administration and operational execution for the assigned category, with a strong focus on revenue support, coordination, reporting, and customer interface. Candidates should have experience in sales operations, sales administration, reporting, planning, SAP/ERP systems, and commercial coordination within the Oils & Fats industry.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the sales administration team to support revenue targets for the assigned category, including contribution to sales strategy execution. Oversee sales administrative operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and smooth cross-functional coordination. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to drive customer satisfaction and repeat business. Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. Develop, implement, and enforce operational procedures, including sales reporting, inventory oversight, and planning coordination.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field. 5–8 years’ experience in FMCG sales operations or sales administration leadership. Must have prior experience in sales operations or sales administration within the Oils & Fats Industry. Strong SAP / ERP experience and advanced Excel reporting capability. Strong coordination, analytical, and leadership skills.
