Overview

Tongston is recruiting an Internal Knowledge Base (KB) Design Associate Officer to support the Education Function in building and maintaining Tongston’s internal education knowledge base for T-World and the wider Tongston ecosystem. The role supports the development of Tongston-owned curriculum, teaching materials, assessment frameworks, VIP Metrics logic, AI prompt libraries, AI instructions, defined terms, school/subject structures, functional industry maps, role/function maps, course pathways, modules, rubrics, and other internal education knowledge resources. This role sits within the Education workstream and works closely with the Education Lead and other teams.

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to help translate Tongston’s Entrepreneurial Thinking Education Model into structured, clear, reviewable, and AI-ready internal knowledge. The role helps answer questions such as: What should different users learn? How should learning be structured into courses, modules, lessons, activities, and pathways? How should users be assessed? How should assessment link to VIP Metrics? What prompts and instructions should guide T-World AI? How should subjects, school levels, functions, roles, industries, and functional industries be mapped? What defined terms should T-World use consistently across education, product, AI, and user-facing experiences?

Responsibilities

Internal KB Structure, Mapping & Defined Terms: Support the creation and maintenance of Tongston’s internal education knowledge base structure. This includes: Organising internal education knowledge into clear categories, templates, trackers, and knowledge objects. Supporting the mapping of school levels, subjects, courses, modules, learning outcomes, competencies, roles, functions, industries, and functional industries. Helping create and maintain role/function/industry maps that connect learning to enterprise, career, entrepreneurship, and intrapreneurship outcomes. Supporting the development of internal taxonomies, tags, naming conventions, metadata, and controlled terms for education knowledge objects. Creating and updating defined terms and glossary entries for Tongston’s education model, VIP Metrics, AI logic, curriculum, assessment, courses, functions, industries, user types, and platform actions. Supporting benchmarking against relevant education, curriculum, assessment, skills, enterprise, and global frameworks to strengthen Tongston’s internal model.

Curriculum & Teaching Design: Support the design, drafting, refinement, and organisation of Tongston-owned curriculum and teaching materials. This includes: Supporting curriculum design across K–12, higher education, professionals, entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, institutions, and other user groups. Drafting and organising course outlines, module structures, lesson plans, activity templates, teaching guides, facilitator notes, learner guides, and learning pathways. Helping bundle courses into modules, programmes, learning journeys, or user pathways. Mapping curriculum and teaching content to T-World user types, widgets, goals, platform actions, and learning outcomes. Creating education content that can support T-World’s Education & Learning widget, including course creation, learning materials, course recommendations, teaching support, certification, and learning analytics. Developing prompt libraries and draft AI instructions that help T-World AI guide users through learning, course selection, lesson engagement, study planning, and learning support. Supporting internal and external knowledge sessions on Tongston’s education standards, model, tools, and learning approach.

Assessment, VIP Metrics & AI Logic: Support the design and documentation of assessment structures, scoring logic, VIP Metrics logic, and AI guidance. This includes: Creating and organising assessment banks, project-based tasks, quizzes, essay prompts, practical activities, rubrics, marking guides, examiner notes, and feedback templates. Supporting assessment designs that test whether learning has been understood and applied. Mapping assessments to Tongston’s VIP Metrics: Value, Influence, and Profitability. Supporting the design of scoring thresholds, recognition criteria, badges, rewards, TOINS-related logic, leaderboard logic, and progression logic where applicable. Helping document how user learning, assessment performance, project completion, platform activity, and enterprise actions may contribute to VIP outcomes. Drafting AI prompts and instructions for assessment guidance, feedback generation, course recommendations, learning support, rubric use, and VIP-related explanations. Reviewing assessment and VIP logic for clarity, fairness, consistency, completeness, and alignment with Tongston’s approved standards.

Internal KB Development, Quality Checks & Maintenance: Support the conversion of internal education materials into structured, traceable, AI-ready knowledge objects. This includes: Drafting, editing, formatting, tagging, and organising internal KB entries using approved templates. Breaking larger education documents into usable knowledge objects for indexing, retrieval, testing, and AI use. Maintaining internal KB trackers, folders, indexes, version histories, and supporting documentation. Checking internal KB materials for completeness, consistency, formatting, defined-term alignment, metadata quality, version control, curriculum alignment, assessment logic, and AI-readiness. Flagging unclear, outdated, duplicated, inconsistent, or incomplete internal KB materials. Escalating issues that require Education Lead, AI Governance, LRGC, Technology/Product, or other specialist review. Updating internal KB materials based on feedback, product changes, AI testing, user insights, curriculum updates, or revised Tongston standards. Supporting periodic clean-up, replacement, or deprecation of outdated internal KB materials. Fulfil additional tasks as required that are incidental to the above.

  • Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
  • Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
  • Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
  • Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
  • Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
  • A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
