Through the Center for Inclusive Digital Transformation of Africa (The Center) and the African Engineering and Technology Network (AFROTC), CMU-Africa partners with leading universities, governments, industries, and other key organizations to enhance engineering education, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship across the continent. The university is now seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative, and results-driven Program Manager to oversee the operational execution of The Center’s Teaching & Learning portfolio. This position will involve coordinating a diverse range of initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery in alignment with program goals. The ideal candidate will be a systematic and disciplined professional capable of managing multiple workstreams, fostering collaboration across institutions and stakeholders, and maintaining strong operational oversight in a complex, multi-institutional setting. The Program Manager will work closely with faculty, academic leaders, program teams, partner institutions, and operational colleagues to ensure seamless coordination, rigorous monitoring, and sustainable impact of Teaching & Learning activities. The role demands a blend of strong program management expertise, exceptional organizational abilities, and relationship-building skills, along with a dedication to educational excellence and a commitment to broadening access to high-quality engineering and technology education in Africa. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Associate Director of Teaching & Learning to develop and implement strategic plans, annual work plans, budgets, timelines, and operational activities for the Teaching & Learning portfolio. Work alongside program leads to ensure the seamless coordination and execution of initiatives, guaranteeing they are delivered efficiently, on time, within budget, and in compliance with program objectives and donor requirements.
