Through the Center for Inclusive Digital Transformation of Africa (The Center) and the African Engineering and Technology Network (AFROTC), CMU-Africa partners with top-tier universities, governments, industry leaders, and key stakeholders to advance engineering education, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship across the continent. CMU-Africa is now seeking a meticulous, collaborative, and results-driven Program Manager to oversee the operational implementation of The Center’s Teaching & Learning initiatives. This position will oversee the seamless execution of a multifaceted portfolio of activities, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with programmatic goals. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a systems-driven approach, capable of managing diverse initiatives, coordinating across institutions and stakeholders, and maintaining rigorous operational oversight in a complex, multi-institutional framework. Working closely with faculty, academic leadership, program teams, partner institutions, and operational colleagues, the Program Manager will ensure the seamless coordination, monitoring, and long-term success of Teaching & Learning activities. The successful candidate will possess a blend of robust program management experience, exceptional organizational acumen, and strong interpersonal skills, coupled with a dedication to educational excellence and a vision for broadening access to top-tier engineering and technology education throughout Africa. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Associate Director of Teaching & Learning to translate strategic priorities into structured implementation plans, including annual work plans, budgets, timelines, and operational strategies for the Teaching & Learning portfolio. Partner with program leads to ensure the seamless day-to-day execution of initiatives, guaranteeing adherence to schedules, budgetary constraints, program objectives, and donor requirements.
