This remote, worldwide role involves evaluating outputs from AI systems to verify accuracy, clarity, factual correctness, brand consistency, and compliance with safety and ethical standards. Key responsibilities include examining AI-generated text, image descriptions, or code for precision, relevance, toxicity, and bias; developing high-quality training datasets through meticulous data labeling; auditing the work of junior reviewers and automated systems to maintain consistency with project guidelines; collaborating with operations teams to refine style guides and annotation instructions based on emerging trends and edge cases; and identifying recurring model errors to provide actionable feedback to data scientists and engineers for performance enhancement. Familiarity with key metrics such as Inter-Annotator Agreement (IAA) or F1 scores, as well as an understanding of how reviews influence model performance statistics, is essential. Candidates must possess at least two years of professional experience in content review, moderation, fact-checking, or quality assurance within the tech or digital media industry. You should demonstrate strong analytical skills, the ability to make sound judgments quickly, and the capacity to justify decisions under ambiguous guidelines. Proficiency in managing multiple software platforms, spreadsheets, and internal annotation tools is required, along with the resilience to handle sensitive or disturbing content with professionalism and emotional intelligence. Experience testing or providing feedback on generative AI models (e.g., ChatGPT, Bard, Midjourney) is a plus, as is a background in linguistics, data annotation, or computational linguistics.
