Kai Bar and Restaurant is an upcoming, high-end bar and restaurant located in Ntinda, Minister’s Village. On behalf of Kai Bar & Restaurant, we are seeking a professional, energetic, and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to join its service team. This role is responsible for providing outstanding guest service, ensuring accurate order taking and delivery, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly and provide a friendly, professional dining experience. Present menus, explain food and beverage offerings, and make appropriate recommendations to guests. Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen and bar teams. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation, quality, and service standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout service and proactively respond to requests and concerns. Maintain clean, organised, and well-presented dining and service areas at all times. Clear and reset tables efficiently to ensure smooth guest flow and readiness for new arrivals. Assist with table preparation, stock replenishment, and service setup before and during operating hours. Collaborate effectively with bartenders, kitchen staff, and fellow service team members to ensure seamless operations. Present bills accurately and process payments using approved payment systems. Adhere to responsible alcohol service requirements, including age verification where necessary. Comply with all food safety, hygiene, health, and sanitation standards. Report customer incidents, breakages, safety concerns, or operational issues to management promptly. Support team members during busy service periods to maintain excellent guest experiences. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, lounge, hotel, or hospitality environment. Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy setting. Good knowledge of food and beverage service procedures. Familiarity with POS systems and electronic payment platforms is an added advantage. Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Hospitality training or relevant certification is an added advantage.
