The Public Private Partnership Commission (PPPC) is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified individual consultants for the role of Data Centre Cloud Architect under the Digital Malawi Acceleration Project, which is funded by the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank. The initiative seeks to expand internet access and inclusive digital engagement while enhancing the Government of Malawi’s ability to deliver digitally enabled public services. The selected consultant will operate from the National Data Centre in Lilongwe, providing specialized support to the Department of e-Government in the design, strategic planning, and deployment of cloud-based solutions while reinforcing the country’s digital infrastructure. The engagement is structured for a two-year term, renewable annually contingent on performance, with potential for further extension. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline, with a Master’s Degree considered a valuable asset. A minimum of five years of professional experience in cloud architecture is essential, including at least two years working within a data centre environment.
