The Embassy is part of the Icelandic Foreign Service, and its role is to support Uganda’s socio-economic development through development cooperation; strengthen bilateral relations between Iceland and Uganda; and protect the interests of Icelandic citizens and provide assistance in need. Iceland follows a programme-based approach at the district level in its development cooperation with Uganda. Equal Opportunity About the Role The Embassy of Iceland in Kampala is seeking to recruit a motivated and experienced Adviser-Programmes to support the implementation and oversight of Iceland’s development cooperation portfolio in Uganda. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting programme planning, implementation, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement, with particular responsibility for ensuring the effective delivery of programmes in Iceland’s partner districts.
