ROLE PURPOSE The Site Health Quality & Compliance Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring quality assurance, compliance, clinical governance, and administrative oversight across occupational health facilities and first aid stations at both the Kansas and Sentinel mine sites. This position demands a meticulous, proactive, and highly organized professional capable of effectively managing follow-ups, upholding compliance standards, coordinating audits, maintaining precise documentation, and proactively identifying, escalating, and resolving gaps. The role involves close collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and the Quality Assurance team to ensure operational excellence. Manager To maintain compliance, seamless coordination, and audit readiness of site health services, ensuring alignment with MBHS standards, client expectations, and applicable regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, possess robust administrative skills, exercise sound clinical decision-making, and excel in managing competing priorities within a dynamic healthcare setting. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS A skilled practitioner with expertise in healthcare, complemented by substantial administrative proficiency, a strong background in quality assurance, or extensive experience in healthcare compliance. A degree or certification in healthcare administration will be considered a valuable asset. Professional registration with the Health Professions Council of Zimbabwe (HPCZ) and/or the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zimbabwe (NMCZ), along with a valid license to practice, is required.

EXPERIENCE

REQUIREMENTS Clinical experience of at least six years in a professional healthcare setting is required. We seek candidates with a minimum of two years of professional experience in healthcare quality assurance, facility audits, clinical leadership, administration, compliance, accreditation, or healthcare operations. Proficiency in occupational health, emergency care, first aid station management, or healthcare facility accreditation is highly beneficial. KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance Ensuring adherence to established quality standards and regulatory requirements is a key responsibility. This role involves meticulously reviewing processes, identifying potential risks, and implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance. Strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of relevant regulations are essential for success in this position. Oversee the implementation and management of quality assurance initiatives within occupational health facilities and first aid stations. Facilitate regular facility audits and clinical compliance inspections in alignment with the MBHS Comprehensive Audit Planner. Ensure adherence to MBHS standards, client specifications, national healthcare regulations, and all pertinent statutory requirements issued by entities such as the Health Professions Council of Zimbabwe (HPCZ), Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zimbabwe (NMCZ), Zimbabwe Association of Medical Rehabilitation Assistants (ZAMORA), Radiation Protection Authority (RPA), and other governing bodies. The position involves monitoring audit findings, designating accountable individuals as needed, tracking the progress of corrective actions, and confirming the resolution of non-conformances. Maintain and update quality dashboards, registers, and compliance trackers to facilitate ongoing quality improvement initiatives. Ensure that all SOPs, standards, policies, forms, and other controlled documents remain up-to-date, readily available, and consistently enforced. Compile and deliver monthly quality and compliance reports to both the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and the Quality Assurance Manager. Present issues involving recurring non-compliance, heightened risk levels, or overdue corrective actions to senior leadership for review and resolution. Assist in the organization and execution of clinical governance meetings, management reviews, inspections, and accreditation processes to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations. Oversight Support for Occupational Health Facilities and First Aid Stations Assist in establishing and maintaining stringent quality standards within occupational health facilities and first aid stations, ensuring compliance and operational excellence. Perform both routine and unplanned inspections to verify that facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, compliant, and fully stocked condition, ensuring operational readiness at all times. Maintain detailed records of licenses, certifications, equipment servicing schedules, emergency equipment checks, consumable inventories, incident reports, training logs, and compliance-related activities. Ensure the continuous availability and operational readiness of critical equipment, emergency response assets, and clinical supplies. Coordinate the follow-up of maintenance activities, procurement processes, equipment servicing, and facility-related issues to ensure timely resolution and operational efficiency. Document and monitor identified deficiencies systematically, ensuring they are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Provide assistance in the formulation, execution, and oversight of infection prevention and control policies, procedures, and standards.
