Accountabilities & Responsibility Areas Oversee the financial operations for the Alistair Group of Companies within the country, encompassing key accounting functions such as Treasury management, Payroll administration, General Accounting, Taxation compliance, Internal Controls, audit processes, and Cost Control measures. To facilitate an efficient month-end close process, validate account balances, reconcile intercompany transactions, and execute postings in accordance with the established month-end timeline. Compile precise financial statements within designated timeframes, encompassing annual budgets, semi-annual forecasts, monthly management reports, and weekly cash flow projections. Conducts annual statutory audits to verify financial accuracy and compliance, ensuring audited financial statements are finalized and submitted in accordance with established deadlines. As the primary liaison with the Revenue Authorities, you will manage all tax-related inquiries and audits, ensuring complete protection of the company from any potential risk or exposure. Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company’s Finance, Procurement, and Administration policies, procedures, and internal controls. Oversee a team of two or more finance professionals and lead the creation and implementation of retention strategies aimed at maintaining high-performing talent. Stay informed about updates in financial regulations and legislative changes. Facilitate the seamless exchange of precise financial information to the FP&A department and the Group Head of Finance to support accurate consolidated reporting. Enforce group policies rigorously to enhance the efficiency and consistency of finance processes across the organization, ensuring alignment with established standards and best practices. Assigned duties may include additional responsibilities at the discretion of the Group CFO. Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration is required. Certification as a Chartered Accountant is considered advantageous. Possesses in-depth expertise in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite effectively. With a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in the relevant industry, you will bring a wealth of practical knowledge and expertise to this role. A minimum of three years of demonstrated managerial experience in a comparable role is required. International exposure Eager to contribute to the expansion and success of an emerging organization. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a high degree of organizational proficiency.
