This position requires a skilled videographer and editor who will create high-caliber video content for One Acre Fund’s training initiatives, marketing campaigns, fundraising efforts, and brand communications—all with a focus on advancing the organization’s mission of driving sustainable impact for farmers, particularly youth and women. Your primary responsibility will be to document farmer stories that illustrate the organization’s impact on both individual lives and future generations. Key Responsibilities: – Production: Capture visually compelling and emotionally resonant video and audio footage using professional DSLR cameras and mobile devices; coordinate and lead video shoots in all operational countries, collaborating closely with local teams. – Editing: Develop storyboards and scripts aligned with project briefs post-production; add subtitles in seven or more languages; adapt existing footage for multiple formats; design bespoke motion graphics that maintain brand consistency. – Story Development & Interviewing: Identify, research, and craft impactful stories in the field based on provided briefs; conduct interviews that elicit authentic, emotionally engaging responses to advance narrative arcs; analyze farmer reports to conceptualize potential storylines and refine interview approaches. – Systems & Workflow: Oversee freelance support as needed and facilitate visits from donor-approved video crews; manage and expand One Acre Fund’s centralized video archive and footage repository; design and maintain a strategic video production schedule to ensure transparency for stakeholders.
