Key Responsibilities: – Filming & Production: Capture high-quality, emotionally resonant video and audio footage using DSLR and smartphone cameras; coordinate and direct shoots in all operational countries, collaborating closely with local teams. – Video Editing & Design: Develop storyboards and scripts to align with project briefs; subtitle videos in seven or more languages; re-edit content for multiple formats; and design bespoke, on-brand motion graphics. – Interviewing & Story Development: Identify and cultivate powerful field stories based on briefs; conduct interviews that yield engaging, authentic, and emotionally compelling responses to advance narrative arcs; analyze farmer reports to conceptualize potential storylines and refine interview approaches accordingly. – Systems & Workflow: Occasionally manage freelancers or accommodate donor-selected video crews during shoots; oversee and organize One Acre Fund’s video archives and footage storage; establish and maintain a video production schedule to keep stakeholders informed of upcoming projects.
