The position merges storytelling, social behavior change techniques, and marketing expertise to craft compelling narratives that highlight One Acre Fund’s transformative work. Your primary objective will be to document and elevate farmer stories, illustrating both individual and generational transformations resulting from our programs. Key Responsibilities: – Storytelling & Production Excellence: Capture visually striking, emotionally resonant video and audio content using DSLR and smartphone cameras, maintaining professional standards. – Field Direction & Coordination: Lead and oversee video production shoots across all operational countries, collaborating closely with local teams. – Editing & Post-Production: Develop storyboards and scripts aligned with project briefs; subtitle videos in seven or more languages; edit content for multiple applications; and design bespoke motion graphics that reinforce brand consistency. – Interviewing & Narrative Development: Identify and cultivate impactful field stories based on preliminary research; conduct interviews that elicit authentic, compelling responses to strengthen narrative progression; analyze farmer reports to conceptualize story arcs and refine interview strategies. – Systems & Operations: Oversee freelance teams or donor-sponsored crews during shoots; curate and maintain One Acre Fund’s video archive; establish and manage a strategic video production schedule to ensure transparency for stakeholders.
