This hybrid role blends videography and video editing to produce polished, high-impact content for One Acre Fund’s training initiatives, marketing campaigns, fundraising efforts, and brand communications—all with a focus on amplifying the organization’s mission, particularly among youth and women. The position merges storytelling, social behavior change, and marketing expertise to craft compelling narratives that highlight the transformative effects of One Acre Fund’s work, both at the individual and generational level. Responsibilities – Professional-Quality Filmmaking & Storytelling – Capture visually compelling, emotionally resonant video and audio footage using DSLR and smartphone cameras. – Coordinate and direct video production across all operational countries in collaboration with local teams. – Professional-Quality Video Editing & Storytelling – Design storyboards and scripts aligned with project briefs post-shoot. – Produce subtitled versions of videos in seven or more languages. – Re-edit footage for diverse applications. – Develop bespoke, on-brand motion graphics. – Professional Interviewing & Story Development – Identify, source, and refine strong field-based narratives based on project briefs. – Conduct interviews that elicit authentic, emotive, and story-driven responses. – Analyze farmer reports to conceptualize potential story arcs and structure targeted interviews to bring those narratives to life. – Video Systems & Operations – Occasional oversight of freelance teams and donor-affiliated video crews during shoots. – Manage and curate One Acre Fund’s video archives and digital asset storage. – Establish and maintain a video production schedule to keep stakeholders informed of upcoming content needs.
