Responsibilities – Professional-Quality Filmmaking & Storytelling – Capture visually compelling, emotionally resonant video and audio footage using DSLR and smartphone cameras. – Coordinate and direct video production across all operational countries in collaboration with local teams. – Professional-Quality Video Editing & Storytelling – Design storyboards and scripts aligned with project briefs post-shoot. – Produce subtitled versions of videos in seven or more languages. – Re-edit footage for diverse applications. – Develop bespoke, on-brand motion graphics. – Professional Interviewing & Story Development – Identify, source, and refine strong field-based narratives based on project briefs. – Conduct interviews that elicit authentic, emotive, and story-driven responses. – Analyze farmer reports to conceptualize potential story arcs and structure targeted interviews to bring those narratives to life. – Video Systems & Operations – Occasional oversight of freelance teams and donor-affiliated video crews during shoots. – Manage and curate One Acre Fund’s video archives and digital asset storage. – Establish and maintain a video production schedule to keep stakeholders informed of upcoming content needs.
