As a front-line, on-site leader, the Office Driver represents the company whenever traveling on official business, ensures company vehicles are well maintained and properly documented, and helps management move efficiently between the office, quarry site, bank, government offices, and other locations. The role reports directly to the General Manager and requires discretion, punctuality, and sound judgment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as an on-site leader by setting a strong example of punctuality, discipline, discretion, and professionalism in all official duties. Provide safe and timely transportation for the General Manager, other management staff, and authorized visitors to meetings, site visits, and official engagements. Transport official documents, correspondence, payments, and small deliveries between the office, bank, government offices, suppliers, and the quarry site. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle, including fuel, oil, tires, brakes, and lights, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Plan and follow the most efficient and safe routes, accounting for road conditions, traffic, and appointment schedules. Maintain accurate vehicle logs, including trip records, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance history. Ensure the assigned vehicle is kept clean, presentable, and in good working condition at all times. Schedule and coordinate routine servicing, repairs, and renewal of vehicle documents (registration, insurance, inspection) with the General Manager. Comply with all Liberian traffic laws, company driving policies, and site-specific safety procedures at all times. Exercise discretion and confidentiality regarding company business, conversations, and documents encountered while on official duty. Assist with general office errands, collection of supplies, and other administrative support tasks as needed. Report any accidents, near-misses, mechanical faults, or safety concerns to the General Manager immediately. Carry out any other duties as reasonably assigned by the General Manager. QUALIFICATIONS &

EXPERIENCE

Valid Liberian driver’s license, in good standing. 2 – 5 years of proven experience as a driver, preferably in an office, corporate, or administrative setting. Solid working knowledge of local roads, routes, and driving conditions within Margibi County and greater Liberia, including Monrovia. Basic literacy and numeracy sufficient to complete trip logs, fuel records, and simple errands or correspondence. Demonstrated understanding of basic vehicle safety checks and care. Clean driving record with no history of serious traffic violations. SKILLS & KEY ATTRIBUTES Strong leadership qualities and the ability to act responsibly as an on-site representative of the company. Excellent knowledge of defensive driving techniques and road safety practices. High level of reliability, punctuality, and personal accountability. Good communication skills and a professional, courteous manner with staff, visitors, and the public. Discretion and trustworthiness in handling confidential documents, payments, and company information. Honesty and integrity in handling company property, fuel, and funds. Ability to remain calm and exercise good judgment in traffic, emergencies, or unexpected situations. WORKING CONDITIONS Based at the Edrine Rock Crusher Inc. office in Zarzone Town, District 1, Margibi County, with frequent travel to the quarry site, Monrovia, and other locations on official business. May require early morning, evening, or occasional weekend availability to support management schedules and urgent errands. Exposure to varying road and weather conditions typical of travel within Liberia. Adherence to all company vehicle policies and safety protocols is mandatory.
