Interior Designer
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for clients, ensuring that designs meet needs, budgets, and industry standards.
Job Context
Position based in Accra, Greater Accra Region. Full-time contract (8am-5pm). Mid-level experience (minimum 3 years). Working language: English. Attractive salary.
Responsibilities
Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget. Develop design concepts, mood boards, floor plans, and 3D renderings. Select materials, furniture, fixtures, color schemes, and finishes. Prepare and present design proposals to clients for approval. Research suppliers, vendors, and contractors for materials and furnishings. Oversee project execution to ensure proper implementation of designs. Ensure all designs comply with safety codes and regulations. Manage project timelines and budgets. Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, and technologies. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals as needed.
Required Profile
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of proven experience as an Interior Designer. Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop). Strong portfolio demonstrating previous design projects. Excellent understanding of space planning and design principles. Strong communication and client management skills. Creativity and a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Knowledge of current design trends and sustainable design practices.
