Storekeeper

Job Summary: Receive and organize goods by department, label them appropriately for placement in the establishment, and deliver them to the relevant department. Stack received goods on pallets or carts. Complete requisition forms for stock and supplies. Inform the manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner. Receive deliveries, properly store perishable items, and rotate stock. Inspect deliveries and dates to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and batch quality. Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items. Comply with food safety and sanitation policies and procedures in all food-related areas. Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators and freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains. Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and waste, and place them in appropriate storage areas.
Responsibilities: Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications. Comply with all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Speak to guests and colleagues using clear, appropriate, and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to achieve common goals. Meet quality assurance expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., small print). Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout an entire shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move on sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and climb stairs and/or service ramps. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Desired Profile: Degree in purchasing and supply management, supply chain management, or a related field. Previous professional experience in stock management roles, preferably in a 5-star hotel environment.
