Ce que ce poste implique
En tant que Senior Inspector à la Landscape and Waste Management Agency, vous serez le garant de la conformité environnementale sur l’île de Praslin. Vos journées alterneront entre inspections terrain (décharges sauvages, chantiers, espaces verts) et rédaction de rapports pour la direction. Vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la sensibilisation des entreprises et particuliers aux bonnes pratiques de gestion des déchets, tout en veillant à l’application des réglementations locales.

  • Expertise en inspection environnementale : capacité à identifier rapidement les infractions (dépôts illégaux, non-respect des normes de tri).
  • Maîtrise des outils de reporting : Excel avancé, logiciels SIG (QGIS ou ArcGIS) pour cartographier les zones à risque.
  • Compétences relationnelles : aisance à dialoguer avec des publics variés (commerçants, hôteliers, particuliers) et à désamorcer les conflits.
  • Connaissance des lois seychelloises sur la gestion des déchets (Environment Protection Act, Waste Management Regulations).
