The Education Project Officer at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) will be responsible for the effective implementation, monitoring, and reporting of educational activities. This role includes providing technical guidance to partner field staff, particularly in alternative education programs. The officer will represent IRC in relevant coordination forums and ensure compliance with the Ministry of Basic Education's policies. The position requires a proactive approach to integrated programming that aligns with IRC's strategic objectives. University degree in education, psychology, sociology, or relevant field Minimum two years of project planning and management experience Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Knowledge of education in emergencies and alternative education programs Ability to work in a multicultural and high-pressure environment Fluency in French and English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
