We are seeking a Lounge/Restaurant Server for one of our partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering top-tier dining service, managing orders efficiently, ensuring a spotless environment, and collaborating effectively with the team. We require a hospitality professional who is reliable, fluent in French (English proficiency is a major asset), and comfortable working evening and late-night shifts.
Key responsibilities
1. Preparation and mise en place
• Ensure the lounge and dining areas are guest-ready before service, including floor and restroom sanitation, table settings, and polishing glassware.
• Monitor and refill essential service supplies such as cutlery, napkins, and condiments.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to guarantee a fluid service workflow.
2. Guest service
• Greet and escort patrons to their tables, present menus, and offer informed suggestions.
• Record and deliver food and beverage orders with speed and precision.
• Provide attentive care and accommodate specific guest requests to ensure a premium experience.
• Handle billing and payment transactions accurately.
3. Sanitation and upkeep
• Uphold high hygiene standards in the service zone throughout the shift.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables immediately after guest departure.
• Adhere to deep-cleaning schedules for all lounge equipment and common spaces.
4. Customer relations
• Manage and resolve guest concerns promptly or report them to supervisors when needed.
• Interact with clients to gauge satisfaction and foster brand loyalty.
5. Collaborative teamwork
• Partner with colleagues to maintain seamless service delivery during peak hours.
• Support team members during busy intervals and promote a constructive workplace culture.
Requirements
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar hospitality role.
• Education: A degree or certificate in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
Skills
• Communication: Fluent in French; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
• Performance: Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under high-pressure, fast-paced conditions.
• Team Spirit: Exceptional ability to work within a collective unit.

• Maintain a polished and professional physical appearance at all times.

Flexibility
Candidates must be available for evening shifts (typically 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM) and occasional late-night hours as required by the business.
