The Deputy Procurement and Operations Manager at Mercy Corps will support the Operations Manager in overseeing operational functions across program locations in Nigeria. This role involves managing procurement, logistics, warehouse operations, and compliance with internal policies and donor requirements. The position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure efficient operational systems and support program implementation. The successful candidate will also supervise operational staff and contribute to strategic planning and risk mitigation efforts. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field Minimum 7 years of experience in operations, logistics, procurement, or supply chain management Experience with international NGOs and donor-funded programs preferred Strong understanding of procurement systems and operational compliance Demonstrated experience supervising operational teams Excellent negotiation and representation skills Effective verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to work with diverse teams in sensitive environments
