Head of Purchasing - Libreville

Main duties

We are hiring a Purchasing Manager for our site in Libreville. Under the responsibility of management, you will be in charge of the entire purchasing cycle, from order to receipt, and will contribute to the security of supplies.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage purchases of goods and prevent supply disruptions, disputes and incidents.
• Ensure the coordination of the purchasing cycle: analyze supplier offers (quote, quality, deadlines), negotiate commercial conditions, validate quotes and establish purchase orders.
• Monitor the procurement budget, participate in its development and ensure compliance with allocated envelopes.
• Manage supplier orders, keep track of deliveries and payments, check the registration of invoices.
• Make regular visits to storage stores to alert on the status of products (breakage, low levels, expirations, storage).
• Participate in inventory inventories and use inventory reports.
• Organize meetings with the stock team and coordinate customs clearance formalities with the General Resources Officer.
• Ensure reporting to its hierarchy.

Candidate profile

You have significant experience in purchasing, ideally in the medical or logistics sector. You master negotiation techniques, offer analysis and budget tracking. Rigorous and organized, you know how to manage priorities and work as a team.
