Advocacy Specialist

The Advocacy Specialist at UNICEF Ghana will coordinate and support the implementation of advocacy strategies aimed at improving outcomes for children. This role involves developing advocacy materials, engaging with key stakeholders, and facilitating policy discussions. The specialist will also strengthen partnerships with civil society and youth networks while enhancing communication strategies to mobilize support for children's rights. Ultimately, the position aims to ensure that every child in Ghana can thrive and reach their full potential. Experience in advocacy and policy engagement Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop strategic plans and workplans Experience in stakeholder mapping and engagement Knowledge of child rights and development issues Ability to translate technical data into accessible messages Experience in coalition-building and partnership coordination Familiarity with media engagement and public campaigns Experience in youth engagement and capacity building
