The Finance Assistant supports the Finance Manager in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, preparing financial reports, and assisting in budget management. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of accounting principles. Key Responsibilities Financial Record-Keeping and Reporting Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and reports. Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Budgeting and Forecasting Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets. Help analyze financial trends and variances. Support in financial forecasting and cost analysis. Accounts Management Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable. Help reconcile bank statements and financial transactions. Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments. Tax and Compliance Support in preparing tax returns and financial audits. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies. Maintain financial documentation for audits. Administrative and Operational Support Help with financial data entry and maintaining accounting systems. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors on financial matters. Required profile for job ad : Finance Assistant - Accra Qualifications and Skills Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience in finance or accounting roles is a plus. Proficiency in accounting software ( Excel). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and organisational abilities. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
