Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and oversee financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to align with company goals. Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management. Lead the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Budget Management: Monitor and manage the company's financial performance against the budget. Identify and implement cost-saving measures to enhance profitability. Collaborate with department heads to ensure budget adherence and financial accountability. Accounting & Compliance: Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards. Manage audits and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies. Risk Management: Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure the company's financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Set performance objectives, conduct regular evaluations, and provide constructive feedback. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the CFO and executive team to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. Serve as a key point of contact for financial matters with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and suppliers. Required profile for job ad : Finance Manager - Accra Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, financial modeling). Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
