Our client is a reputable manufacturing business within the electrical and building industry, known for high‑quality products, robust operational processes, and a collaborative culture. Based at their Johannesburg Central manufacturing plant, this role places you at the heart of operations, with frequent interaction with the factory floor and involvement in key business decisions. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring costing accuracy, driving insightful financial analysis, and optimising manufacturing performance. Key Responsibilities: Calculate and monitor overhead, labour, and standard costs across production Perform new product costing and maintain accurate standard cost structures Analyse standard versus actual costs, investigate variances, and provide clear insights Review production costs and recommend cost‑effective improvements Analyse and report on sales margins and profitability for the production division Review, maintain, and analyse BOMs and routings Manage stock and WIP reconciliations Prepare budgets, CAPEX, and investment proposals for the production division Partner with Sales, Production, Planning, and Procurement to support costing decisions Prepare monthly management accounts and operational reporting

Job Experience & Skills Required: BCom in Management Accounting CIMA qualification advantageous
