We specialize in the development, processing, packaging and marketing of dried fruit, nuts and related speciality products for South African and international retail. The following career opportunity became available at our processing and packaging facility in the Ceres Valley .

COST ACCOUNTANT

The incumbent forms part of a dynamic financial team and reports directly to the Financial Manager. Work activities, among others, include:  ongoing maintenance and generating of new “Bill of Materials” (BoM’s) analysis of gross profit margins data collection, analysis and reporting of the cost drivers in the production process annual price increase calculations and preparation of price lists preparation of annual budget for sales and purchases of inventory monthly allocation and management of inventory of clients preparation of inventory reports and management information management of inventory counts and analysis of inventory variances monthly reconciliations and financial closings standard cost reports and analysis of variances coordination and management of relevant information, documentation and inquiries assist with preparation for annual financial audit liaison with internal and external parties as required

Candidate Requirements

The following skills are important: ability to understand and analyze the production process to meet target dates and deadlines punctually ability to function focused and accurately under pressure good time management to be a good team player with the ability to work self-sufficiently advanced MS Excel skills We invite candidates with a BComm degree (Management Accounting) and 2-4 years proven work experience to apply.   The remuneration is market related.  This position is an excellent career development opportunity.
