Job Ad & Profile Description Position : Finance Manager - Accra We are looking for a Finance Manager. Job Summary The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health and sustainability of GreenGate Foods. This role ensures effective financial planning, cost control, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial management to support the company’s growth within the food processing industry. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management Financial Reporting Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements in Ghana Present financial reports and performance analysis to senior management Cost Management & Control Monitor production costs, raw materials, and operational expenses Implement cost-control measures to improve profitability Analyze cost structures within the food processing value chain Cash Flow & Treasury Management Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning Oversee banking relationships and financing arrangements Ensure optimal utilization of financial resources Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies Coordinate audits (internal and external) and implement recommendations Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies Team Leadership Supervise and develop the finance team Establish strong internal controls and financial procedures Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Stakeholder Management Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions Support management in strategic decision-making with financial insights Required profile for job ad : Finance Manager - Accra Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) required Minimum 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or food processing Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills Strong understanding of Ghanaian tax laws and regulatory environment Key Competencies Strategic financial management Budgeting and forecasting Cost control and efficiency optimization Regulatory compliance Leadership and team management High level of integrity and attention to detail Reporting Line Reports to the Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director Work Environment Office-based with regular interaction with production and operations teams within the processing facility.
