SENIOR MONITORING EVALUATING & LEARNING OFFICER (MEL)

📌 The Senior Monitoring, Evaluating & Learning Officer (MEL) at Mercy Corps will be responsible for enhancing project monitoring, evaluation, and learning procedures. This role involves conducting field visits, managing M&E tools, and ensuring data accuracy for project reporting. The officer will also provide technical assistance and capacity building to staff and partners, design surveys, and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing across the organization. Bachelor’s degree in relevant field At least 3 years of M&E experience Proven ability to design data collection tools Strong statistical skills and software experience Willingness to travel frequently Knowledge of participatory planning and evaluation Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Effective writing and organizational skills Strong computer skills in MS Office
