COMMUNICATION OFFICER

📌 The Communications and Learning Officer at Mercy Corps will support programs in Northeast Nigeria by documenting implementation processes and producing communication materials that showcase program impact. This role involves gathering insights from the field, capturing beneficiary experiences, and translating achievements into compelling content. The officer will also contribute to organizational learning by documenting best practices and innovations. The position requires collaboration with program teams and monitoring and evaluation staff to ensure accurate representation of program data. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Development Studies, or related field At least 3 years of experience in communications or documentation Experience writing program stories and reports Strong photography and design skills Fluent in English and Hausa Ability to work collaboratively with teams
