BackgroundMeeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a global project funded by the U.S.President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the U.S. Department of State (DOS).The project provides strategic technical assistance and direct service delivery to achieve HIVepidemic control among at-risk populations, while also strengthening global health security,expanding tuberculosis detection and treatment, improving maternal and child health, addressingmalaria, and promoting health systems strengthening.In Cameroon, the EpiC project supports the continuation and expansion of life-saving HIVprevention, treatment, care, and support services, building on previous PEPFAR-funded initiatives.The program prioritizes community-led service delivery models integrated with facility-basedsystems to improve access to quality HIV-related services and contribute toward achieving theUNAIDS 95–95–95 targets.Family World International (FAWOI) is a civil society organization committed to fosteringautonomous and sustainable communities through capacity building, skills development, andstrategic partnerships. FAWOI’s interventions focus on Health, Education, Protection, EconomicEmpowerment, and Development, with particular emphasis on promoting the wellbeing of womenand girls.FAWOI will implement the FHI360-led EpiC Cameroon project in the Southwest Region,specifically in the health districts of Muyuka, Kumba North, Mamfe, Tombel, and Bangem.2. Position SummaryFAWOI is seeking a qualified and motivated Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer to lead thedesign, contextualization, implementation, and oversight of M&E activities for the EpiC Cameroonproject within assigned districts.The M&E Officer will ensure that high-quality, timely, and accurate data are collected, validated,analyzed, and used to inform program performance, learning, and continuous quality improvement incompliance with national and donor requirements.3. Key ResponsibilitiesThe Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will be responsible for the following:• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, training, supervision, and coordination to M&EAssistants and relevant stakeholders to ensure high-quality data management and reporting.• Ensure complete, timely recording, archiving, and protection of project data in both paperbased and electronic systems.• Conduct context-specific capacity-building sessions on reporting tools, registers, mobileapplications, indicators, data validation, RDQA, and data use for decision-making.• Analyze project data, identify data quality issues and programmatic gaps, and share actionableinsights with project stakeholders.• Lead weekly and monthly data triangulation and validation activities across supporteddistricts and service delivery points.• Coordinate validation of referral (handshake model) data with clinical implementing partnersat health facility level.• Plan and lead monthly RDQA activities, including implementation and follow-up ofrecommendations.• Conduct supportive supervision visits to frontline service providers to strengthen M&Epractices.• Co-plan and coordinate M&E support activities with district health teams, implementingpartners, and other stakeholders.• Represent the EpiC project in Ministry of Health and partner coordination meetings,
