Our is seeking a highly skilled TAP Engineer to lead their operations in a mine project. The selected candidate will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our technical services while ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. This position is designed for an experienced professional who will be developed into the Project Manager role in the near future. Responsibilities: Oversee and lead technical and blasting operations at the mine. Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Provide expert technical support and training to the operations team, promoting best practices in drilling, blasting, and explosives management.
Manage operational planning, resource allocation, and process optimization to enhance productivity. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to align with project objectives. Analyze performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support budgeting, cost control, and overall financial management of the project.
Work closely with senior leadership to develop strategic decision-making and leadership skills in preparation for a Project Manager role.
Requirements : Qualification and Skill Degree in Mining Engineering, Explosives Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in blasting operations, technical services, or related roles Strong knowledge of drilling and blasting design, explosives handling, and mining regulations.
