Job Description

The Emergency Preparedness & Response Officer at WFP will coordinate and ensure the delivery of programs in alignment with project agreements and donor requirements. This role involves writing project proposals, managing budgets, and liaising with government and non-governmental partners to enhance program impact. The officer will also mentor team members and ensure adherence to WFP's ethical standards and humanitarian principles. The position is based in Accra, Ghana, for a duration of 11 months. Advanced University Degree in Public Administration Minimum of two years of experience in Emergency Preparedness Response Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong leadership skills Demonstrated coordination of multiple teams and activities Well organized and detail-oriented Experience in Data Analysis Good communication skills Fluency in English and intermediate knowledge of a second UN language preferred
