Job description A career opportunity exists at RTG TECHNICAL SERVICES, KOMATIPOORT for the position of:

Trailer Technician

Job Summary (not limited to):

Carry out services and repairs on trailers, as per the OEM specifications.

Attend to breakdowns in depot, on the road, normal and after hours.

Inspection of trailers before/after work is performed.

Accurate completion of job cards and workshop applications.

Maintain a high level of technical serviceability of the trailer section by quality work and preventative maintenance in conjunction with the ISO standard.

Responsible for timely prioritization of all operational requests, recognizing technical deficiencies, and implementing effective solutions in conjunction with the foreman and workshop manager.

Requirement:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in this specific field.

Trade certificate in related fields will be beneficial.

Grade 12 certificate.

Auto electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and welding experience.

Valid driver’s license (applicants without a driver’s license will not be considered)

Own vehicle required to travel from home to work.

Must reside in the KOMATIPOORT area / willing to relocate

Must be fluent in English.
