Job Objectives

Oversee and manage the bank’s enterprise-wide ICFR management framework. The role involved is to properly aligned with financial reporting risks while complying with ICFR requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

1.  Assist in the design, documentation and implementation of ICFR frameworks 2.  Support management’s ICFR assessment and certification processes 3.  Prepare ICFR related reports summaries and supporting documentation 4.  Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements 5.  Coordinate with process owners to ensure timely completion of control activities 6.  Liaise with external auditors and consultants during audits and reviews 7.  Assist in updating controls for changes in business processes, systems or regulations 8.  Support initiatives to strengthen internal control awareness across the Bank 9.  Creation of database of controls on each item of the Financial Statement Minimum Education Qualifications

 Minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant subject, such as finance, accounting, banking, audit or control, and professional certificates as advantage

 

Work Experience

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in banking covering finance, accounting and Financial reporting standards

 Key Competencies:

 Knowledge

  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise risk management principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

  • Computer literate

  • Understand banking operations

  • Knowledge of Financial Analysis.

  • Financial modeling techniques Skills/Competencies/Aptitudes

  • Ability to think strategically and demonstrate initiative

  • Good analytical skills

  • Good interpersonal, listening, and communication skills

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities Organization & coordination
