We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Account Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of our client in the oil and gas sector for a detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor (Chartered Accountant preferred) to support the finance team in day-to-day accounting operations, reporting, and audit preparation.

The ideal candidate should be strong in QuickBooks and have solid exposure to audit processes.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and accounting ledgers

Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations

Support internal and external audit processes

Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Maintain and update financial records on QuickBooks

Assist in tax filings and statutory reporting

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Perform bank and account reconciliations

Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking

Requirements

Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ACCA) preferred or in progress

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly preferred

Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

4–6 years relevant accounting experience

Strong exposure to audit (internal or external)

Strong integrity and professionalism

High attention to detail and accuracy

Good organisational and time management skills

Salary

N300,000 – N500,000 Monthly.
