Position Type: Permanent Minimum Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in business, management  or equivalent. Minimum Relevant work experience:  3 to 5 years of relevant operational experience at business or market level in at least one of the following areas, business planning  dynamic forecasting, Supply chain.

POSITION SUMMARY

Joining Nestlé means you are joining the largest food and Beverage Company in the world.  At our very core, we are a human company driven by our purpose to enhance the quality of life and contribute to a healthier future.  Nestlé Cameroun is currently looking for a Demand Planner who will Develop, maintain and improve a Demand Plan for a portfolio of products and customers. Ensure the alignment of this Demand Plan with internal and external partners through the Monthly Business Planning and Collaborative Planning processes. Identify and manage exceptions, and monitor performance in order to continually improve the quality and reliability of the Demand Plan and the Company’s ability to sense and respond to changing circumstances.

YOUR  RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect Information and Assumptions Collect information and assumptions about events, activities in relation to promotions, product launches, customer/distribution changes that form important part of demand plan. Manage Portfolio and Lifecycle Collaborate with cross functional teams to manage portfolio lifecycle, such as new product launches, packaging changes, phase-in/phase-out, and product discontinuation. Ensure that demand is appropriately forecasted and maintained in all circumstances Generate and Maintain the Forecast Demand planner has sufficient knowledge to be able to generate statistical forecasts in Open Source (tool) and maintain volumes  in SAP. Drive consensus through Monthly Business Planning Process Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive effective MBP processes to reach consensus demand plan. This becomes a primary input to the Dynamic Forecast.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL?

3 to 5 years of relevant operational experience at market or Business level, in at least one of the following areas: Sales, Key Account Management Category Channel Sales Development Customer Service Supply Planning SAP Planning Finance: Business Planning / Dynamic Forecasting Supply Chain Development, If not held a commercial role before joining Demand Planning, a mission to a Sales related function is strongly recommended. Must be analytical and proactive. Knowledge of SAP and Power BI certification would be added advantages. Strong proficiency with Excel and experience with other Microsoft Office tools (Power point & Word).
