SIMS Nigeria Limited specializes in the assembly, distribution and sales of consumer electronics from major brands such as - Samsung, Panasonic, Royal, Skyworth, Electrolux, Bosch, Philips and Powermatic. Our business started out in 1987 and since then we have grown to be a market leader in the home appliances & consumer electronics market in Nigeria. We operate a number of branches that cut across most of Nigeria’s geopolitical zones in major cities such as Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Abuja, Onitsha, Enugu, Uyo and Kano.

Job Title: Sales Executive - Modern Trade
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Modern Trade Sales Executive to drive sales growth across key retail accounts and organized trade channels.
The ideal candidate will manage relationships with supermarkets, hypermarkets, and chain stores, develop channel strategies, improve product visibility, and drive revenue growth within the modern trade landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue within the modern trade channel.
Build and manage strong relationships with key retail accounts, buyers, and category managers.
Monitor sales performance, stock availability, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of promotions, account management, and customer satisfaction.
Negotiate trading terms, promotions, shelf placement, and visibility initiatives to enhance brand presence.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, with relevant experience in a similar role with 2-3 years experience is required
Strong negotiation, relationship management, and commercial acumen.
Good understanding of organized retail and modern trade operations.
Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Proven experience in Modern Trade Sales, Key Account Management, FMCG Sales, or Channel Development.
