📌 ### 📌 Job Description The Senior Accountant at GreenGate Foods is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting compliance with Ghanaian financial, tax, and statutory requirements. The role supports cost control, inventory accounting, and financial integrity within a food processing environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closings. Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, and balance sheet schedules. Cost & Inventory Accounting Monitor production costs, raw materials usage, and inventory valuation. Support cost control measures and variance analysis in collaboration with operations. Ensure accurate recording of inventory movements and stock reconciliations. Taxation & Statutory Compliance Prepare and file statutory returns including VAT, PAYE, SSNIT, and corporate taxes. Ensure compliance with Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) requirements. Support external audits and liaise with auditors and regulators.
