Job Summary

A reputable manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and reliability of machinery in its factory. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal machine performance, minimizing downtime, and implementing preventive maintenance systems.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all factory equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair faults on production machines.

Ensure maximum machine uptime and efficiency to support production targets.

Supervise maintenance technicians and external service providers.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and spare parts usage.

Manage inventory of spare parts and ensure availability of critical components.

Conduct routine inspections and recommend improvements for equipment performance.

Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery.

Collaborate with production team to improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications & Requirements

HND or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Familiarity with maintenance planning and reporting systems.

Skills

Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.

Preventive maintenance planning and execution.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Good leadership and team supervision skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, maintenance logs).
