Roles and Responsibilities – Design and optimise mineral processing flowsheets and processes. – Monitor plant performance and troubleshoot operational issues. – Ensure efficient recovery rates and product quality. – Prepare technical reports and process improvement plans. – Work with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets. Requirements – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mineral or Metallurgical Engineering (or a related field). – Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in mineral processing (gold, base metals, other minerals). – Knowledge of process simulation software (e.g. MetSim, Aspen, etc.) is an added advantage. – Professional registration (where applicable) is an added advantage.
